U of M Labor and Community Strike Support Committee

The executive board of COGS has carefully considered whether or not to hold our General Assembly (GA) meeting this week as scheduled in Coffman Union due to the strike of AFSCME union and our pending resolution regarding COGS support of the workers.

We have decided that since COGS is a democratic organization and we want to have a free debate on the pending resolution, we will postpone our meeting until next week (possibly next Thursday) and gather at a location that is neutral (off-campus). This should allow all those interested in COGS to attend the meeting.
