Wednesday 9/19 @ 12:15p @ East Bank Mall The Faculty Strike Support Committee is sponsoring a silent protest in solidarity with the striking AFSCME workers. We will be silent for one half hour, followed by a minute of “noise,” because we are struck speechless by the administration’s refusal to offer the workers a fair, living-wage contract and because of the continuing attacks on academic freedom and free speech that they are waging against supporters of the strike.
