Wednesday, Sept. 5, 7:00pm University Baptist Church (Strike HQ), on University Ave & 13th St., Dinkytown U workers face an uphill battle to win a fair contract from the administration, and student solidarity will be absolutely crucial. We need a big turnout this for this meeting, so please come and bring along your friends (the spirit of solidarity is infectious!). We'll hear from strikers about the issues and map out an ambitious, rapid action plan to force Bruininks back to the negotiating table. Join us and help make this powerful strike movement a turning point at the U of M! | ||

On September 8th, there will be a People's Conference held in support of striking AFSCME workers and all those struggling for a more democratic university. The conference will be held from 1-7pm at U Baptist Church following the 10am UofM Labor and Community Strike Support Meeting. All are welcome to attend and snacks will be provided. | ||
